Down-sized Housing, Another Example

Here is another example of promoting more efficient housing for residents,  Inglenook in Carmel, IN, Leads Pocket Neighborhood Housing Trends of 2012 in the Midwest (Read more: http://www.digitaljournal.com/pr/533378#ixzz1hl8pH9fZ).

The concept is similar to what we are considering for the potential reuse of industrial land adjacent to Dennisport Village Center.  The concept looks to promote efficient land use, both within the nature of the site, as well as relative to the location of the site.  Promoting infill development, with efficient site development standards will improve the availability and affordability of housing in Dennis.  And, infill development will allow the housing to be located within walking distance of many day-to-day needs.
