There will be several Zoning and General By-law changes up for discussion during the Joint Meeting of the Board of Selectmen and Finance Committee Tuesday March 20th at 5:30 pm..
Up first will be the Village Wayfinding Sign amendment to the Dennis Sign By-law. The Selectmen’s hearing on this General By-law amendment will start at 5:30 pm.
During the Administrative Agenda the Planning Board’s proposal to add two associate members to the Planning Board will be discussed. This will require a future Public Hearing by the Selectmen to cover the General By-law amendment that mirrors the required zoning change.
The Joint Meeting will also take up the EDC’s proposal to provide for more off-season access to the cottages and RV’s in the Seasonal Resort Community Zoning District. The EDC is seeking to increase the allowed off-season access from 4 days to 15 days in any 30 day time period.
Finally, both under the Administrative Matters and Review Petitioned Articles portion of the by-law the two committees will discuss the Petitioned Article which seeks to reduce the size of future cottages in the Seasonal Resort Community Zoning District.
