Above you will find a tab taking you to the latest version of the proposed Dennisport Village Wayfinding Sign Sign Code Amendment. The proposal specifically limits the proposal to the Village of Dennisport, hence the new name “Dennisport Village Wayfinding Sign Program.” The proposal also seeks to address height issues raised last spring when this was first proposed. The proposal now has a minimum ground clearance of 8 feet, which places the bottom of the signs at the same level as existing street signs. The maximum height is set at 13 feet. This would provide adequate spacing for a street sign, three panels and the Dennisport Village Logo to be placed on the signs, and some form of connection to attach the pieces of the signs together.
This latest version will be reviewed and discussed at the September 13, 2012 Economic Development Committee Meeting. This meeting will take place at 9 am at Dennis Town Hall in the Downstairs Large Hearing Room.
