New Flood Zone Maps

The New Preliminary Flood Maps have been released. We will be scheduling public meetings to discuss these maps in the near future. Until then, we are making these maps available to the public in a number of ways.

As always, you can stop by the Planning Office and we will review the maps with you. Please stop by between 9 am and noon and Eileen and I will be glad to help you.

We also have a computer in the lobby at the Town Hall Annex which has the flood maps available to review at any time. You can use an address look-up on this computer.

Finally, we are using Maps On-line and the Town GIS to put the maps up on the Town Website and through the link below so you can look at this information in the comfort of your own home.

We are still working on this map. If you have ideas on how we can improve it, please let us know.

I thought the hatching from the previous map depicted the differences between existing and new flood areas better than the current hatching. Would suggest going back to that. Kudos for being on top of this!

We are still working on getting this fine tuned. Since yesterday we have modified the hatching on the map. Hopefully it reads better.
