Restricting Use of Non-Recyclable Products

A couple of years ago the Planning Board restricted the use of a variety of non-recyclable products during the review of the Christie’s Route 6A proposal. The issue came up again with the permitting of the new Cumberland Farms on Route 134. The article linked below shows that the Planning Board is not the only ones concerned wih such issues:

Somerville is following the lead of Concord and Brookline.

As Dennis and other Cape towns wrestle with up-coming solid waste issues, perhaps these restrictions should be formalized.
