An Argument for Clear Definitions

Here is an interesting Court Case from out of state. While it deals directly with a Home Owners Associations restrictions and covenants, and is interesting in itself from that point of view, it draws some pretty strong conclusions for zoning by-laws as well. The conclusions:

  • If you use the term, you better define it.
  • Don’t call something one thing (personal business), then try to restrict it in some other fashion.
